Wendy earned a B.A. in Public Policy from Duke University and a Masters in Education from Lesley University. She has worked in the coaching, leadership development, philanthropy, academic research, and education sectors for the past 30 years. Wendy founded the Nueva Teacher Training Program and has been coaching through the Bay Area Teacher Training Institute for the past decade. She co-designed and co-led Agency by Design, a research project at Harvard’s Graduate School of Education focused on thinking and learning.

Wendy is an ICF Professional Certified Coach. She was trained at the Co-Active Training Institute where she earned her Certified Professional Co-Active Coach credential. Wendy is also trained in the Internal Family Systems (Level 2) therapeutic model, a powerful approach that often leads to profound inner shifts. She is also trained and level-one certified in IFIO (Intimacy from the Inside Out), an IFS-based model for working with partnerships, couples and teams.

Wendy has served on multiple non-profit boards including Park Day School, Chapter 510, and Children for Change. She is a proud breast cancer survivor and thriver. She lives with her husband and two children in Marin County, California.
